The lavender farm in Taichung

This is a very well organize Lavender farm in Shinse-Taichung, Taiwan~

Check up the linkhttp://www.lavendercottage.com.tw/, its all in Chinese character :-p not sure google translator will work on the page.

The Lavender farm is very famous in Taichung but there is no direct public transport to the farm,
I almost cant make it when I took a bus to the small town close to the farm (>_<)
Thanks to google :-D, I found a transport + guide on the web- Mr.Teng
( jan.teng.hsu@gmail.com / +886 910 956339 )
I was sooooo lucky that day Mr.Teng still have 1 slot for me to tour around (^__^), Mr. Teng is one of the guide in Shinse~ He is well train to bring people to tour around Shinse.
I've missed some places when he picked me at 1pm, normally the tour start at 10am~
Still very lucky (^___^) coz the next stop is the main place I wanted to visit
The Lavender farm.

At the entrance there is a Lavender mist ceremony to welcome all the guests~
just press the button, the mist ( water + lavender essence ) will spray out from the tree.....
SMELL GOOD!!! and refresh after 30min ride from the small town

The entrance fee is about 200NTD redeemable vouchers, you can spend that on souvenir or the very nice food in the restaurant OR!! The signature Lavender ice-cream

The map and the redeemable vouchers are printed on the ticket:
4 NT50 vouchers

I've missed the lunch time so the first thing I do is to fill my tummy full :-D, I knew the farm is not really big but I know I will be very excited so I need to EAT before I start to tour around

Start with fruit salad

Very creamy mushroom soup

Berries soda

Yeah, Its rice, very import to chinese

Grill Chicken, Super nice!!!

Wohoo, I'm full of energy to start the tour now~~
It's free and easy, Mr.Teng gave me 2.5hrs....
sound like its a small farm
BUT
its located on the hillside, mean you will take more energy to tour around the farm

now you know why I eat before tour

So happy to see the lavender, I can smell it even its not much

This is the wishing stamp machine
The wishing message on the hill top
