Ice Gallery in Macau

This is my first time to take photo in the ice gallery.
It located in the fisherman jetty in Macau.
It is very challenging to me coz I live in southeast asia,in the beautiful tropical zone in Malaysia and I have never done ice and snow photography before.

It was a rush trip to get this shoot done,I was told to take the ice gallery only 3days before and I have no idea how does it look like and what the client need.

Inside the gallery is -25'c, thats the coolest temp. I ever experience before( Singapore and Malaysia is about 20'c to 35'c all year ).
It's before the gallery open to public so you can see the saw is still on the floor to touch up the art piece.

The first photo I have to capture is the big arrangement at the entrance,
it a huge octopus~ I love the way they arrange the lighting but I hate the light will change the color is every 3second....

These is all blue octopus with a golden jewel box, looks like very cold and deep under the sea

I'm not sure what is that but I can just say its a flying angel with a music instrument.

And here come the lovely penguins ~

I tried to changed it to black and white at the second photo and it made the art piece looks like crystal clear and big contrast to show the lines.

It reminded me the queen of Narnia~

This is my favorite art piece~ and this is the most difficult shoot.
The color lights change very fast and you have to get the correct timing to get the color that you want and look natural.

And the last photos are the photo I cant decide which is better~
